The reconciliation was to clarify some of the tensions between these people which related to Kumana’s relationship with those USA visiting friends. One of this was his promise to his community, purposely to clarify that, such promise is a propose and the community should understand the outcome, either positive or negative, and the community should understand this.

Kumana’s Promise could be Dangerous said a close Relative .
The relative said that, for almost 5 years now but
nothing happens. He also said that the frequent visitors from the USA had
been reminding the community of expecting some positive result from them.
Kumana’s promise somehow could be hiding out from
the back of everybody's mind but may spoil his reputation and his family.
Also there
has been disagreement from kumana’s tribe, for being requested Kumana
to leave his home for a day trip on the tourist boat. This may allow him to
catch cold and he is aging and such request may affect his health.
In response,
Kumana’s grandson stated clearly that such request may allow
him to be part of his solidarity with his USA friends, and moreover is
to relieve
himself from the ongoing stress which currently affecting him since he lost his
beloved wife.

Kumana cannot locate exactly where he and buiku buried the body of a Japanese pilot.
It was a fine day and there were attacks from the Air and the Sea between the Japanese and Allied force. This makes it harder to differentiate either we are now heading to the setting of the sun or still in mid day.
We approach Lebu bay (Gizo Island) and we saw a Japanese plane was being attacked by an Allied Plane. There it went right in front where I and Baku ahead too. We spotted where the wreck is but not a sign of anybody. There above us was a large umbrella, it was a parachute, the pilot was air-escaped from his plane. We approach him but it doesn't seem like an enemy to us but expecting us to save him from his injury and we treat his wound in the Gizo harbor (Now BP wharf).
Next day, I and Biuku planned to hand him to the Americans but he asked us to take him to Kolobangara (Japanese base). But we insisted, then he retaliated. Wow!! He is a tough guy, he made very fast move with actions (Karate) then made an attack on us. But with a change we hold and won't let him free and after a lot minutes he collapsed and we lost our Japanese friend. We buried him in BP area Gizo town.
It was in the year 2004 my grandfather told this story to me. And this year 2012 the Japanese Government Volunteers are seeking any reminds of the Japanese soldiers who died during the WWII may report this to them. So in private (2012) I asked my grandfather were was the exact site where they buried the Japanese Pilot, but he cannot locate the exact site.

Aaron Kumana’s wost bloody nightmare brings the findings.
One of the bloody tales that Kumana told me was the bloodiest
war launched by air attack and the field attack in different locations which US
marine commanders used us as front liner.
“I always risked my life but I found that the USA marines
always cover up, but when it comes to an air struck bodies are all over”, said
Kumana.
In the year 2003 Aaron Kumana whispered in my ear and told me
the sites.
And in the year 2007 some USA dog tags were collected.
Check out might one of those you know.
